Cutaways of Shops in Liverpool

We decided to film the outside of some shops in Liverpool to be used as cutaways from the interviews when the interviewee mentions where they buy their t-shirts from. You can find pictures below of us carrying out the task.

As a group we went into Birkenhead to film an interview with a t-shirt printer.

Also as a group we went into Liverpool to film another interview with a t-shirt printer. This shop was bigger than the other printing shop therefore there was more room to film.

Vox Pop Pictures

After school one day Lauren and Gemma went into Liscard in order to get vox pops. A few days later myself and Gemma went into Liverpool One and got more vox pops. I took pictures of us doing this which you will be able to find below.

Interview in Pulp - Liverpool One

After school one day, we decided to go back to Pulp in Liverpool One to film more cutaways for our documentary. We already filmed cutaways when we filmed an interview with the shops manager however we decided we could film some better cutaways.

Planning

The planning comes just before filming the documentary. In our groups we had to draw a storyboard for the title sequence and draw a single frame for each interview we will carry out for our documentary and write the questions for the interviews. Below you will be able to see our planning for these three areas.

Running Order

In our group we had to come up with a plan of material we want to use in our documentary  therefore we created our running order so we knew what would be in our 5 minute extract. Running Order

Research for Documentary

Here as a group we had to research our documentary in detail to find footage we would use in our documentary. This included such things as;
Primary research - interviewees for the programme, locations for filming/props which will be used, getting mise-en-scene of the interviews.
